zekiizo is back with ADORED, a seductive, Y2K-esque club track packed with energy, attitude, and just the right amount of grit. Produced by Dom Martin, the track taps into the essence of late-2000s and early-2010s electronic pop while pulling that familiar sound into a much darker space.
On first listen, my DJ ear immediately caught shades of Lady Gaga’s LoveGame—that provocative, electro-club energy that defined the era. But zekiizo takes that influence and paints it in her own palette, trading some of the pop gloss for dark, seductive, industrial allure.
The production hits with a raw edge that gives ADORED its character. It’s sexy without feeling polished clean, carrying the kind of pulse and attitude that feels designed for bodies moving under low lights.
This one belongs in the dimly lit after-hours, when the night has gotten a little darker and the dance floor a little more reckless. ADORED captures that feeling perfectly.
