Norman Sann — “OVERLOOKED”
I am always excited to see a new drop from Norman Sann. He is definitely one of my favorite underground hip-hop artists out right now. His new track, "Overlooked," is a cut from his latest project, The Monsters They Made. While I haven't had a chance to dive into the full project as of yet, this track showed up on my release radar and grabbed me from the go.
BLANCO BABY MOB holds down the production, keeping things raw and minimal. It lays the perfect bedrock for the track, giving Norman room to float over the beat with top-tier wordplay. He speaks directly on the struggles of being overlooked in an oversaturated world full of misinformation and distractions, especially as the powers that be suppress the honest voices that seek to lift us up.
Ultimately, "Overlooked" is more than just a social commentary. It is definitive proof that Norman Sann is one to continue to watch.
