NAMO — “Nostalgia Theory”
Every now and then, we are surprised with a sonic treat from one of our most awesome day-one supporters. I was happy to see a new drop from NAMO—a supremely talented beatmaker with incredible versatility and depth.
His latest project, Nostalgia Theory, is full of dusty, golden-era goodness. It feels simultaneously timeless and contemporary; packed with analog textures and crunchy, heavily textured drums, this body of work is guaranteed to take you on a journey.
"Good ol Days" is an immediate favorite for me, though the entire project is nothing less than solid golden-era vibes from front to back. It hits that sweet spot of 90s boom-bap and cinematic downtempo, making it the perfect record to just put on and get lost in.
We hope to get a NAMO sighting back on the BFG stage soon. Until then, dive into the sonic serendipity of Nostalgia Theory.
