One of our OG supporters, lfty_lsy, returns after a little time away with his latest full-length project, Algebra_pt.2. If you’re into straight lo-fi vibes, this is one you can put on and completely immerse yourself in.
The project is packed with hard-knocking drums, syncopated rhythms, tape saturation, detuned samples, and all of those little imperfections that give the music texture and character. There’s plenty of grit, but also a real richness to the production that keeps the project feeling full and alive.
One of my personal favorites is Samuel, a track I’ve kept in regular rotation since hearing the project. We even added that one to our official BFG playlist, so you already know where we stand on it.
As a full body of work, Algebra_pt.2 stays consistent and cohesive while giving you plenty to dig into. If you love lo-fi production, dusty textures, off-kilter grooves, and drums that knock, this project is for you.
