Larry Beville — “Save Yourself”
Larry Beville is on my radar after I had the pleasure of meeting him at our July event, where he shared some of his music during our open aux segment. We even got to meet his young son, who joined him on the mic and showed that talent clearly runs in the bloodline. Not only did Larry bring great energy and vibes to the room, but he also proved to be a very versatile and talented MC. This track, “Save Yourself,” boasts a chill, jazz-infused beat produced by V. Shaheed—who was actually one of our guest producers for the showcase in July. Larry takes an introspective approach to the track, reflecting on the journey and lessons of life while walking that fine line of a humble yet confident delivery. It’s a song that you definitely want to just kick back and vibe to.
